Driver Monitoring & GPS Tracking Disclosure

As a condition of using the Gerson Dispatch driver application (“the App”), you are required to read and acknowledge this disclosure. The App collects location and activity data to support delivery operations. This notice explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how long it is retained.
The App transmits your GPS coordinates approximately every 30 seconds while you are logged in and on an active delivery shift. Location data is used to: (a) display driver position to your dispatcher; (b) calculate estimated delivery arrival times; (c) detect prolonged stops and trigger dwell-time alerts. Location tracking is active only during an active shift and ceases when you tap “End Shift” or when the app session expires.
The App records each of the following actions with a timestamp and your driver ID: delivery confirmations (mark as delivered/failed), bag scan events (load, unload, return), route stop status changes, and shift start/end times. These records are used for route management, customer service, and performance reporting.
Location history, delivery records, and shift data are retained for a period of two (2) years from the date of collection. After this period, data is deleted or anonymized. Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Supabase (U.S.-based). Access to your data is limited to authorized Gerson Dispatch personnel.
Your personal data, including location history, is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be disclosed if required by law or legal process.
You may request access to your personal data or request deletion by contacting your dispatcher or emailing dispatch@shelah.ai. Requests will be processed within 30 days. Note that certain records may be retained for legal or operational reasons even after a deletion request.
